IT HAS COME TO THIS . . .
Dear Friends and Fellow Americans,
This is an open letter to everyone. However, I urge those who share my views to write similar letters. Yes, we are divided, but justifiably so. Trump is a harmful influence, and those who support him are, by association, equally culpable.
As someone who values honesty and integrity, I feel compelled to address a critical issue. It is clear to me that Donald Trump is unfit to be president. His actions and behavior have consistently shown that he is a person I would not willingly associate with.
The Bible, in 1 Corinthians 15:33, warns us, "Beware, evil companionships corrupt good morals." This verse resonates deeply with me as I consider Trump's character and influence. His amoral conduct and corruption are indisputable. However, the greater tragedy lies in those who continue to support him. To you, dear reader, if you are among his supporters, I must state plainly: I want nothing to do with you.
The concept of guilt by association is one I firmly endorse in this context. I will no longer tolerate those who stand by and support such a figure. By your association with Trump, you are aligning yourself with amoral, sociopathic behavior. You are, by extension, endorsing foolishness and, most alarmingly, insurrectionist tendencies that threaten the very foundations of our democracy.
Yes, I am speaking directly to you. If you support Donald Trump, you are complicit in his actions and the damage he has caused. I implore you to reconsider your stance and reflect on the true values that underpin a just and moral society. Until then, I will distance myself from those who continue to support and defend such reprehensible behavior.
Sincerely,
Bill Spriggs
